Meet The Flourish Team: Celeste Walsh
CELESTE WALSH - EMAIL MARKETING MANAGER
I was born & raised in West Virginia (Mid-Ohio Valley), where I attended a Ritchie County High School with a graduating class of 95. Truthfully, I was not the sharpest pencil in the box as a child, but I quickly began enjoying school and was able to complete College English/College Speech in during my senior year of highschool. After graduating RCHS, I then attended & graduated from West Virginia University with a Bachelor's degree in Strategic Communications, PR, and a minor in Music Industry. During that time I was a radio DJ for U92 (college radio station), and worked at Mon Hills Records (university record label) as a PR representative. I was noted for my excellent work in Spring 2018 and received the honor of being on the Dean’s List. have a very close family, despite being the oldest of five siblings, I’m about to venture off into the great city of Seattle. I have a great passion for music, art (I embroider and collage/take photos which have both been mentioned in published journals), and film (I love movies especially the classic 80’s hits). My favorite pastime is learning how to create new dishes (mostly Indian or ultra-healthy meals) and reading from authors like Sheila Heti & Chuck Palahniuk when I have the time.
Fast forward to September when I was introduced to the Flourish team. I became an email/ManyChat communications apprentice for Vivian until the following December when the FM team approached me with an opportunity to join their tribe. Since joining the team full-time, I am now the Email Marketing Manager where I create & install email campaigns for FM and many of our clients. Since joining the team, I have had the pleasure of increasing my overall skills in writing, format designing, and the operations of campaigns (assisting with clients/completing assignments such as research, copywriting, website formatting, and of course email marketing).
When it comes to what skills I bring to the Flourish table, I like to think I bring a new yet creative twist to our brainstorming sessions, campaigns, and overall outcomes to projects I handle. I am a perfectionist when it comes to overall products. I love helping others (maybe it’s the Aquarius in me lol). But that saying, I provide the ability to think outside of the box with my innovative approach, establish a positive yet hard working mindset, along with blending my PR skills into a personable & professional manner. FM has given me the tools to enhance my abilities of a creative creature, always seeking the next best & unique tool or route. FM not only has made my day dreams a reality,
