Why Every Boss Woman Needs A Business Bestie

Why Every Boss Woman Needs A Business Bestie

Every boss lady should have a girl tribe that aligns with your vision. To be more specific, every boss lady should have a business bestie. A business bestie is always a vital part of your own personal business. The purpose of a business bestie is NOT to replace any friends or best friends that you may already have.

Here’s how you can benefit from a business bestie:

You’ll have someone you can always count on to encourage you and inspire you! I personally believe that is the greatest benefit from having a business partner. You have each other’s backs. Especially when you hit a creative block or feel discouraged they will listen and help pull you through.

Your business bestie will not be your “yes woman”. If you are looking for constant validation, you are not looking for a business bestie.  The last thing any entrepreneur needs is a yes man or yes woman.  Your business bestie will tell you the truth, straight with no chaser.  If something does not make sense – they will let you know.  The key to forming real business relationships is open and honest communication.  If you cannot handle constructive criticism, it is possible you need to take a step back and re-evaluate before attempting to form a true open and honest relationship.

Having a business bestie is always fun! You never have to feel alone. You’ll have an event buddy and someone that can attend networking events with. Have you ever had an industry event that you wanted to attend but couldn’t find a +1? Again, you can turn to your business bestie and arrange to go together.

A business bestie acts as your sense of reason. She is the ideal person to bounce ideas off of and you know that no matter what they are there for you. Best of all, your business bestie has you and your company’s best interest in mind. A bestie wants to see you win just as bad as they themselves want to win.

If you have yet to find your business bestie One of the best places to network and find a potential business partner are conferences. Flourish Media is having their annual women in business conference this February (22-23). Be sure to get your ticket to meet and network with all the fellow boss ladies like yourself. If you already have a business bestie, snagged our buddy passes to attend together to learn and grow your business! All the Flourish Media Conference tickets are available now
