For the past almost decade, Kristen has been a reporter and fill-in anchor for multiple television news stations. Kristen most recently contributed to NBC Boston/NECN. At the Boston news station, she interviewed Levi Sanders (Bernie Sanders' son as he announced his run for office), former New Hampshire Governor John H. Sununu and the current NH Governor Chris Sununu. Kristen came to NBC Boston from WMUR, ABC’s affiliate in New Hampshire. While at WMUR, Kristen covered enterprising stories like the “Angel Faces” retreat, a story that was picked up nationally and received more than 1 million views.
Prior to WMUR, Kristen worked as a general assignment reporter for News 12 Westchester in Yonkers, New York. At the Emmy Award-Winning station, Kristen covered some of the biggest stories in the region including: Pope Francis’s visit to the Northeast and the deadly train crash on the Metro North commuter rail station. Kristen’s coverage helped win her station a Press Club Team award.
Kristen got her start at KTXS TV, the ABC Affiliate in Abilene Texas. At KTXS, Kristen filed her very first special report about refugee students subjected to unfair standardized testing. The story helped bring regional awareness and move legislators to change policy in the students’ favor. That story went on to win first place for documentary at the New York Association of Black Journalists awards.
Kristen is an in-demand speaker and mistress of ceremony. She is known for her natural wit. She even perfected it completing almost two dozen stand up comedy performances in the Boston area. With her gift for funny and being a skilled interviewer, Kristen is often hired to MC galas, fundraisers, host formal and informal panels, lead one-on-one conversations and speak to large audiences.
Most recently, Kristen L. Pope stumbled into founding Mom Life Streets, an authentic conversation about woman and motherhood in every day life.
Kristen is an enthusiastic mom to a brilliant toddler named Lily who is teaching her how to live her best life. Kristen says her favorite part about motherhood is getting to always be the student.
Kristen studied broadcast journalism at the Hampton University Scripps Howard School of Journalism and Communications. Since graduating, she has interviewed community leaders including Reverend Al Sharpton, TV and radio personality Roland Martin and former NAACP President Ben Jealous.
Intensely involved in community activism, Kristen founded The King’s Daughters, Inc., which focuses on personal development, affirming one’s identity and restoration from shame. In 2014, she founded her own boutique production company, “Pope Productions,” and created the flagship variety show, “The Positive Controversy with Kristen Pope," which will soon air it's second season.
Kristen’s a transplant to the Boston area. She moved to the New England region from New York in November 2015. Kristen didn’t waste any time jumping in. She’s involved in her alma mater’s local alumni chapter, is an active member of her sorority Alpha Kappa Alpha’s graduate chapter and an active member of Pentecostal Tabernacle in Cambridge.
When Kristen’s not working, she’s soaking up time with her husband Richard and their daughter Lily in their home in Natick, Massachusetts.
Lauren Paige is a talented publicist and communications professional, with a passion for women empowerment and multicultural marketing. She currently serves as a PR Manager at One/35 Communications, a woman- owned, black-owned communications agency that bridges the gap between brands and the African American market. She leads multicultural PR campaigns for clients such as: FOX Broadcasting Company and Bounce TV. In this role, she is responsible for launching new shows (Rel, The Cool Kids, Proven Innocent) as well as creating new, exciting campaigns for existing shows (Empire, STAR, The Four, Saints & Sinners). Prior to this, she served as a Senior Publicist at leading entertainment marketing agency Allied Integrated Marketing, where she led campaigns for films such as: Hidden Figures, Detroit, Fences, Almost Christmas, Suicide Squad, Lady Bird and more.
Before her work in the world of Film & TV, she led talent and media
relations for Procter& Gamble's 'My Black is Beautiful' program during the Essence Music Festival 2015. Her career began as a luxury fashion and beauty publicist, working with legendary fashion houses Cartier and Dolce & Gabbana- all the by the age of 25. In addition to her PR work, she spearheads Marketing & Communications for Gyrl Wonder, a non-profit organization committed to empowering young girls of color.
With a range of experience, Lauren has a proven ability to spot opportunities for clients to grow their brand recognition in saturated markets that align with their overall objective. Her diverse career has allowed her to develop relationships from many different sectors and place her clients in leading publications.
Lauren earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism from Howard University, and is a native of New Orleans, Louisiana. She has been featured on Bravo’s Blood, Sweat & Heels, where she worked alongside Style Expert Daisy Lewellyn who lost her battle to cancer in April 2016.

Her earlier career before becoming a CEO, she worked at the United States Department of Agriculture for Seven years. After those seven years, Milan took a leap of faith at the age of Twenty-Three and became self-employed in August of 2017. Building her portfolio, she interned with ESPN980 and Attune Music Entertainment Group for some time, she also took a number of volunteer opportunities that consisted of PR related work. Since the start of her working career, Milan was inspired to one day have her own agency that centered around her passion.
At the age of twenty-one, Milan started what is today Umanagement Entertainment Public Relations Agency as a Limited Liability Company, founded in Washington, D.C.
