Leadership in Crisis- Tina Miller
LTC Tina H. Miller is a student at the U.S. Naval War College. She assumed the position in March 2020. Prior to this assignment, she served as the Deputy Human Resource Manager of the 335 th Signal (Communications) Command from December 2017 until February 2020. LTC Miller is a graduate of Morris Brown College and the American Intercontinental University in Atlanta, Georgia. She received a Reserve commission as a second lieutenant in May 1998 through the Reserve Officer Training Corps as an Adjutant General Officer. LTC Miller has served in a variety of assignments and positions from Executive Officer to Assistant Professor of Military Science.
Her previous operational assignments and positions include:Executive Officer, 461st Personnel Service Battalion, Fort Gillem, Georgia; Platoon Leader, Observer/Controller-Trainer and Battalion Senior Human Resource Officer, 1/347th Regiment Training Support Battalion, Fort Gillem, Georgia; Plans and Operations Officer, U.S. Army Central Command; Fort McPherson, Georgia; Senior Human Resource Officer and HHC Commander, Area Support Group-Qatar, Doha, Qatar; Special Management Officer, U.S. Army Central Command, Fort McPherson, Georgia; Recruiting and Operations Officer and Assistant Professor of Military Science/Executive Officer, Alabama A & M University, Huntsville, Alabama; Branch Chief, Initial Military Training Section and Deputy SGS, USARC, Fort Bragg, North Carolina. Her operational deployments include Operation Desert Storm, Operation Enduring Freedom, and Operation Iraqi Freedom.
