Divine Femininity + FMC | The Power of Pitching to Investors

Divine Femininity + FMC | The Power of Pitching to Investors

Each year at the Flourish Media Conference, attendees are encouraged to pitch their businesses to the panel of investors. There isn’t always a definite winner, this isn’t a pitch competition. It’s a chance to enrich relationships with local change-makers and gain actionable feedback. It’s a moment for business owners to pitch directly to funders. If you play your cards right, you could walk away with deep connections and eager wallets ready to invest in your business.

Someone who took this opportunity was Heidi Ronquillo.

Heidi is a reiki master, yoga teacher, and business owner. She is gifted with the ability to connect with others deeply and has spent over a decade growing and enhancing her craft of spiritual and sexual healing. Her business, Purple Lotus Spiritual Healing, is more than a wellness practice; it’s worth more than money.  As a tool to replenish one’s connection with themselves, Heidi teaches how to live a healthy fulfilled feminine life by reconnecting with one’s womb, sexuality, and spirituality.

After the seventh annual conference had ended, we approached Heidi to get the scoop on her experience pitching to investors from Morgan Stanly, Bricklle Finance, Knot & Key, and many more.

Read her insight below!

Why is it important to pitch your business?

“For greater awareness of my business and to learn the best ways to pitch for future funding opportunities.”

Why did you decide to pitch?

“I decided to pitch because I had never done it before and thought - how can one grow and expand if they don’t take opportunities given?”

How difficult would you say the pitch portion was?
“I would give it a solid 4. I wasn’t nervous at all!”

How does pitching align with your business doing social good?

“My services help women and being able to pitch I can share what I do for them and the community.”

What advice do you have for women business owners who receive the FMC Small Business Grant?

“To never let fear hold you back!”

What is your next big milestone within your business?

“It will be having enough income flowing from it that I can do this full-time.”

What’s something you’ve been working on in your business that you want the world to know?

“I am reworking my 6-week program into a group program and not just one on one!”

FMC's private Facebook Group has grown significantly in recent years, how are you using that Facebook Group to help your business flourish?

“I use it to collab with other like-minded women.”

Why should other women small business owners attend Flourish Media Conference and what will they learn from your talk?

“They will learn how to feel empowered in their divine femininity and sexual energy and how that flows into all areas of our lives and how tapping into this sovereignty within can call in amazing opportunities into our lives. Others should go not just to learn Important business tips but to have opportunities to collaborate and meet amazing women!”

We love what Heidi stands for. Business owners like her help shape our future while reconnecting us with ourselves.
