Tribe Feature | American Confidence Institute
If you are not confident in your own abilities and judgement, why would anyone else be? In order to be a successful leader, you need to be able to influence, and without self-confidence, your ability to influence and gain people’s trust, is going to be much more difficult. Being self-confident helps you to feel assured that your attempt to influence is appropriate and right. And when you have this feeling of self-confidence while influencing others, people are going to sense that, and it's going to help you win their trust.
American Confidence Institute can help you with this! American Confidence Institute (ACI) is a professional and coaching platform dedicated to helping people build their morale. Their ultimate goal is to help smart and hard-working people, like you, to achieve their goals with confidence.
Alyssa Dver is the CEO and Chief Confidence Officer of American Confidence Institute. She co-founded ACI in 2013. Her mission is to empower hard-working people with science-based knowledge on how the brain works to gain self-confidence. ACI gathers this information by conducting primary research that involve focus groups, surveys, and other social observation techniques.
They also use secondary sources by gathering information from academic journals and businesses. ACI then compiles all this valuable information to develop practical tips, training courses, and coaching sessions to help users with their self-transformation in gaining more self-confidence. ACI helps clients in almost every industry. She has worked with leading corporate companies such as Spotify, Wayfair, the US Airforce, and Harvard University. Dver has also been recognized as one of Boston’s best speakers, and has presented as a TEDx keynote speaker.
Dver spoke with Flourish Media and gave some insight on how she started her business. She also shared some helpful tips for women entrepreneurs on how self-confidence can help flourish your business.
Dver states that she funded ACI through another business when she first started. She said through a $200 investment, she was able to make $100k in revenue. Her “flourish” moment was when she presented for TEDx. She said that the feedback she received from her keynotes motivates her to grow her business. Tribe has also been very important for ACI’s success. Dver says she was able to build her tribe through her keynotes and workshops, where she has the opportunity to send monthly emails and have programs geared to connect with fellow confidence crusaders and coaches.
When it comes to self-care for business women, she gave this wisdom.
“Celebrate small wins, recognize when you are tired, sleep, and be structured! All brain science based...I have an entire book about this!”
